Anybody have any success ordering and installing an electric trim motor?
Mines pretty rusted.
Online price is about $150 compared to $700 for OEM.

Mixed results from what I read. The Etec forum guys are mostly adamant about using OEM, several active or retired dealer mechs on there that list at length the woes they see/saw with aftermarket PTT pumps.

I recently replaced an after market PTT unit on my 200 Yamaha. The aftermarket one lasted 4 years and I will see how long this one lasts. I’ve got twins, the STRB side is the original 2013 factory unit and still going.QUOTE="scott craven, post: 1170733, member: 8"]
