I know if that came up on my line it would be in the boat and later on the wall, the first and last. Oh ya, pics and video as well. It appears to be a buck so they only killed a single fish.

That's the same place where they were crying over two small Halibut killed in English Bay last year-I also heard they were big on fly fishing for Herring. [)]
In general it is a good website, but there is so much whining about how people fish and what they keep etc. I guess that they are real fishermen, with morals and ethics! Lol, Interesting.
Well I guess it's the customer's choice whether to release or not. The BC Local news website has it wrong, Tommy T is on the left. Good on yah Tommy. You continue to be on fire after all these years.
I don't know too many fishermen who wouldn't whack a giant like that...
most guys fish a whole lifetime and never get that opportunity.
that being said, i sure do repect those that would release it as well.

thats a good one. I had a group who were catching and releasing mackrel off the dock all the while promoting catch and release! You should have seen their eyes when I showed them my "catch and release" technique on dogfish!
This is why I prefer this site! lol. It would be tough to release a beast that large and I to respect those who can, but I can't handle people who feel their way is the right way...
