Heard that one of these motors blew after 9 hrs of break in.

One of the few local ones? Or in general across North America? If it’s a local one, that’s not a good track record because there’s like four total haha

Yah but now what,, how long in till they can get a replacement or fix this one. There goes someone’s summer of boating.

Example of why one should always be very cautious of buying the latest and greatest and new design of anything.

One of the motors on the boat about this thread. Apparently a Merc tech came up from the states to deal with it.
