25 lb spring taken

Was up early sunday, went out to point grey bell bouy, Caught very nice 25lb spring in first 15 mins, nothin else after that, except for a trap full of crabs, Anyone fish the capilano on the weekend?

Way to go. I hit a big spring in the "area" Saturday morning too.

It's too early for the Cap yet. Give it at least another 3 weeks before you even bother----Pt. Grey is a better bet.

nice fish! fished 12 hours this week and hit high slack for three nights. one fish just shy of 16lbs off the coal port ( roberts banks). can't believe the # of boats out there. thankfully the weather has calmed down finally.

Flasher with hootchie. Hard to believe fish are in the area I was fishing with the port expansion and a suction dredge blowing crap half way into the strait but lots of bait fish and a crapload of seals around. Seems like a race these days to get a fish in before the seals take it.
