23 hourston project.

Yeah goddan beautiful job! My boat is at a different price point. I'm at $1700 for 400 hour 225 Optimax with a grenaded lower, $2600 for new OEM lower unit. $1000 for boat and trailer and about another $1500 so far including two scottys. All the cloth I was given for free. Removed the fly bridge and stripped it. Not going to be a pretty boat however perfectly functional!

Remove the bridge

Thank you woody83 for donating the bridge to my cause, I appreciate it! Please let me know if I can be of assistance? I PM'ed you as well

Update time...
Bought a trailer and got the boat home at the end of summer. Pulled the flybridge for Rob. Gutted the stringers, bulkhead and interior and finally started on repairs/rebuilding.
I'm not very good at keeping up with photos and dont have alot but here are a few, I'll try to take more. Going to be a bunch of progress here pretty quick as I'm going to move it into a friends shop and hammer on it until spring.

Ps having a hard time uploading for some reason.

Bow repair.
Sorry, doesn't show the 6 layers of glass on the inside. Going to add a couple to the outside aswell. Going to fully split/remove the deck from the hull to properly repair the rest of the "massive hole" in the bow. Also fairing the hull in preparation for re-gelcoating and eventually paint.

Sounds like you have'er all under control, was wondering how you were going to tackle the bow. That was quite a hole to repair, awesome work!

Thanks Rob,
Rebuilt from the inside with two units and another unit on the outside to regain some strength, duraglass is only for the hull contour. I will be glassing over it once I'm inside a heated shop.

She will have a new life, you will enjoy this dream boat for years to come... many ppl, including myself, would have been discouraged/intimidated to under take a project like this. Good on you to see the big picture, keep it up! :D

Hey mister, bumping for an update :) how is the project coming along?

Very nice find, keep us updated with what you decide, congrats! :)
