Anybody fish Epsom Pt in the winter months ?

Place holds fish year round , in my opinion the fishiest spot on the inside .

People also fish inside behind thormanby this time of year .

Went out on Sunday fog was dense leaving pender so stayed around Pearson island. Landed a 74cm spring in 200 ft of water at 125 on the rigger.

Guys fish off the green can at the end of Tottenham ledge . I still think I would be fishing Epsom , holds too much bait year around to not hold fish .

I've been reading (with envy) the squid fishing reports around Vancouver island. Has anyone on this forum fished for squid in our area?

Closed the chinny season out with calm seas, a gorgeous sunset and a plenty of action at Epsom. I was out for only about two hours and had 8 unders to the boat, all 50-60cm, but lost a few heavier ones that freed themselves in the fight. Plug on one and an Irish cream w/ flasher on the other, catch rate 50/50.
