2026 OFFISHALL Vancouver- Howe Sound- Sechelt Report Thread

The hump is almost directly south of Cape Roger Curtis the southwest most point off Bowen Island guessing about a mile south there is kind of a raised area off the ocean floor-northwest of QA marker if that helps lol
it does. Thank you very much.

Managed three keepers between 62 and 64 between The Bell and North Arm yesterday. Fish seemed to be right at the 170 contour and of course right on the bottom. Not a sniff on the spoons. All the action (maybe 10 total fish to the boat) on the white hootchie with chartreuse flasher. ALL on the right side, even when I had the exact same setup on both sides. Weird stuff! Sorry about the poor picture here. The colours on these beautiful fish were amazing. Almost a blue-ish hue. Hopefully we get some more good reports over spring break.

Nice report. Other than that, this thread is kinda depressing. Hope the weather cooperates a bit better to finish up March strong before… well, you know…

Great day out there and a perfect way to kick off work early on a Friday for a solo. Fish were caught around 2 and 3PM on the flood. No luck with the spoons but the white glow hootchie near bottom was clearly the ticket. Starting a little vlog which I will post every now and then (more for the excuse to buy some cool camera tech). Hope you enjoy!

Great video, well done! Funny how I just kept my side-eye on the other rod the whole time, lol.

Fished the bell Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4:30, through the 3 pm low tide. One undersized to the boat (released) just as I set up the second rod, then nothing.

In as shallow as 115’. Out as deep as 190’. Dragging bottom. Running mid water column. Not a sniff.

Minimal bait marked too. Milkshake brown water. Didn’t see anyone else have any luck of the 8 or so other boats out. Hope conditions pick up before the close of the season!

I was out there and I concur haha!!!

Any reports today from the bell? Hoping to get out tomorrow and fill licenses for some friends, contemplating on where to start

I’ve been out 3 or 4 times in the past month. I’ve had most success in the centre of the crosshairs. Focus right around here. Just north of the North Arm. Stay between 170 - 180 feet. Be close to the bottom. Chartreuse flasher and white hootchie charged up with light seemed to work best for me around there. Tight lines!

And I would favour an early start tomorrow. Tide starts going out at 7:25am and things slow down for me on the ebb tide at the bell. Not sure if others have the same experience.

Where did you get your tide time from for Friday at the bell?

170-180 feet! I can’t wait that long to drop my balls I might have adhd or something like that, I’m gonna stick to 90-110 until I see a seal or hit a abandoned crab trap
