2025 Vancouver Boat Show - What's Cool?

I wonder if Harbour Chandler will revisit their decision to only go with electronics this year and leave all of the door crashers at home. Their booth was smaller and quieter.

I can't believe Island businesses make the effort, I was looking at a fishing business just before the new year a few years ago and decided skipping the show would be more efficient and to geo-target attendees then try catch their attention. Converting at the show, after the time and money involved on setting up didn't seem worth it for a VI business unless you have some exclusive boat line that Vancouver and northern people would come to the island for.

Harbour has a huge buying base from off the island. Their booth always looked to be one of the busiest, and I assume their bulk buying gives them good margins. No real knowledge though.

That's good. Yes they buy a lot of stuff direct from manufactures. According to one of their competitors as well, if they sell out of something you can have it in a couple days for more than their regular price due to single item shipping and distributor markup.

Could not help but feel for how low keyed the sharrow prop display felt.
Way off to the side loosely set on a twin outboard display .. no reps that I could see...
And yes the old relleck beachcomber was the star of the show.. imho

Ya. I thought the same thing.

Ya, I missed not really having Harbour Chandler there for fishing gear deals. Pacific Net & Twine had some good stuff and a few deals this time around.

Anyone find the performance numbers on the 22 with the Sharrow? Yami used to be “partnered” with them, I'd think it would be a big draw as the seakeeper trim tabs and the sharrow are both boat handling improvements.
I believe Jasper told me that he just got that prop and it was sort of a soft launch the way restaurants open without a grand opening announcement. Give it time, I wouldn’t really consider that a display as you can tell by the photos. I’m surprised it was left unguarded the way it was. I picked it up and moved a little bit to get a better photo before I put it back, and no one was watching it.

I went to the Vancouver show on Wednesday and was really disappointed. Apparently next year it won’t be at bc place due to fifa, so it’s going to the convention centre. So expect even less.

Went to Seattle's show on Friday, worth the drive to see the boats. Not as much in accessories or fishing as I would have hoped for.

Might be worth checking out there sportsman show next year it seemed to be pretty busy from all the Westcoast fishing posts on insta

They are specific to an engine, might be hard to sell if have to try it on a bunch of engines to get it dialed in! Thanks for letting us know it made it
