We got 9 today. Not a sniff until about 7, right at tide change. Mostly black hooks

Yes red flashers. 21-24" leaders 3/0 hooks not pure black. More like gunmetal color hooks

When we first started using 1/0 black chrome hooks about 15 years ago, it didn't matter what flasher we pared them to. We used pink and green mist and eventually home made Oki moon jelly blanks we got at PNT with silver crystal flash tape. Everything worked. It was the magic of the black chrome hooks. I think we used 27" leaders then. Didn't really matter. jc

Hello. On a different topic. I am planning to launch at Clutesi on August 10th at 8 am. The tide will be a negative at that time. …..extreme low tide.

Will i be able to get my boat in the water at that time ?

I have an 18 footer.

Thoughts/advice from Members on what i can expect as I launch at the Marina ?

I hope you can advise. Much appreciated.

No issue with water there.
