Anyone focusing on sockeye at all? I am thinking it might be worth it too try this week. Lot of fish heading down inside right now. We sort of have an advantage here not as many pinks plugged up like JDF right now.

sockeye move fast it only takes them 7 days to get from Port Hardy to Fraser river

Very true that’s why they’re so hard to find until they stop at the currently closed mouth of the Fraser and hold for a bit
We hit Entrance last night. Did end up with 2 hatch coho (the only 2 we caught) and 2 springs, though one was a 65cm immature fish. We were definitely hunting around to find fish and bait, and had to rely on the bite coming on at dusk for the last 2 fish. Interestingly, when we put on a hoochie on the one side it was outperforming the plugs, which has not been the norm for us lately.
Basically it seems like things have slowed out there and/ or conditions have changed and things have moved around since the easy limits of the last few weeks.

Wow did normal service resume plus some at Entrance yesterday evening. In 3 hours we got about 20 mature fish to the boat by the time we bonked our 3 chinook and 6 clipped coho. Most success for us from 110 to 140 feet. Included in there were 2 overs. Seemed like every time I had a minute to pick my head up and look around someone around us was playing a fish. Hooting and hollering from other boats was great to hear.

Pretty standard NW blow with a ridge of high pressure… par for the course around here! Other than the other par on the course which is the SE through the teeth!
I see it's down to 8 at the moment. Good luck to anyone who made it out tonight.

I was one of crazies that went out this morning. Turns out they were biting at the fingers! Fished 8-9:30, took a couple up onto the roof tacking into the sea. Lost a single then lost 1/2 on a double. Released a smaller one around 70 cm. Decided I was going to do a windward tack and go in as the seas were getting closer together as the ebb tide was working. Then I get another double 
While the 2nd fish is still peeling I decide the first one was a keeper if he met the size criteria and he was a 77 cm buck. Good thing too as the other was an over…..a solid @Raincity 20 lber
