I couldn't agree more, it is a great argument indeed. I've got a pile of gear we just need to go I guess? Got Starlink already! You can work 365. You can only fish tuna off the island a dozen days a year......

A couple Ukee boats started around the tuff fleet, then headed further out and did find them around 65, but not till after lunch. both picked up around 30.7 boats went west out of Tofino yesterday and didn’t find them
Can confirm Starlink (at least HP flat one) works well on tuna grounds.I couldn't agree more, it is a great argument indeed. I've got a pile of gear we just need to go I guess? Got Starlink already!

It was like that in 2017 or 18 too. Season was longer than normal but fish moved aroundNegative, we were off Nootka where we loaded up 2 days before and they were a long way south outside Louden. Commercial fleet was also scratching heads after the fish disappeared overnight. Tuna has been consistently inconsistent this season. 30-40 fish one morning then go back the next and struggle to find any fish. At least it keeps things interesting!
Not all years will be like last year..Negative, we were off Nootka where we loaded up 2 days before and they were a long way south outside Louden. Wow nice. Saw your boat at the dock last weekend. Were you able to pack 45 tuna on the seasport? Two day total out of WH finally all 90 fish in the freezer
I have a large stainless steel insulated fish box build into the rear area that used to house the diesel inboard. Generally I can fit 32 tuna in that hold then the rest in the coolers that the ice was in! I am pretty much maxed out at around 50 fishWow nice. Saw your boat at the dock last weekend. They sure take up a lot of cubic inches when you’re icing them properlyI have a large stainless steel insulated fish box build into the rear area that used to house the diesel inboard. We had 62 degrees on the east side of barkley and 64+ on the west side. They're there. This is a couple of days old but shows some fishable water around 60 -70 miles from Bamfield. Hopefully it moves in a little closer.
