Next week it gets worse.Careful with the Hwy 4 stop. I went through it 6 times last week. The first 5 times was 10-15 minutes or less but the last time was over 1 1/2 hrs and I ended up missing my reservation on the ferry.

Yep that's how I rollSome troll a weighted rubber jig on the downrigger so the ball is in less jeopardy of fouling and the jig is deeper into lingland.
Have the same. Maybe not using it right? I see the notes on the map. Ideal situation would be to have raster level substrate. Doesn't exist now (?) but maybe in 5-10 years with the way things are going?I use the Navionics Boating App on my phone with the $20/year Sonarchart subscription. Very detailed and useful.

Would do the inlet.Only a week before our annual trip to Bamfield first time with my own 22’ aluminum boat, was wondering with all the improvements done on the gravel road so far between PA and Bamfiekd, would it be advisable to trailer the boat or come through the inlet? The issue is I’ll arrive to PA just before noon and I’m concern about the wind. I really appreciate any feedback.
I've done it in my 20 foot grady when it's blowing. You should be ok in the 22 foot boat. Won't be fun until you get a couple miles past nahmint.Only a week before our annual trip to Bamfield first time with my own 22’ aluminum boat, was wondering with all the improvements done on the gravel road so far between PA and Bamfiekd, would it be advisable to trailer the boat or come through the inlet? Thank you all for the feedback. I think I’ll take the inlet.
