been a few coho and springs caught off ambleside and cap area all u can do is keep tryingreport: started at at point atkinson around 10am and did the power tack all the way to the cap for high slack around 1pm. Tried chovies just off bottom for a while, mixed in some spoons and hoochies up higher looking for some coho, but same result for me which was pretty much zip! 2 small shakers and a flounder for my efforts. did a few donuts at the cap honey hole near high slack and did see one spring caught but we weren't able to entice anything despite marking some fish and bait. Just good to get out on the water but quite early for the cap so I had low expectations... which were met.
Is French Creek humps on the way?Anything happening around Sangster-ish area? I'm going to fish my way home from Hornby.

What's the weight on that big guy.Beautiful day to cross, even in a 21 foot jet boat in the middle of the afternoon , we had lines down around 3pm, definitely more action early. Released a few under. Stayed between 200-300 ft with the bottom rigger mainly set at 220. After our break at Silva bay, we tried really hard circling the same bait over and over again with nothing to show for but few shakers. Pink hit a white hooch at almost a dead stop, the dog was thrilled to have something in the cooler. I need a bigger boat LoL or a smaller dogView attachment 83660
Way to grind it out!its been a while but finally got out on the vancouver briny again tho in a much smaller boat but another fishy one
Fished cap hole to pink apartments 11-6 today- started off with a few pesky sharks and a couple flounders keeping me busy- then went o for 4 on bites that didnt stick including the complete strip of my anchovy from a bloody nose teaser head!
Stinger hooks and all-
Grinded to the evening tide then noticed a couple fish get picked up- went through my proven providers and pounded hard to get something on the “pick up”- wamm a super fiesty 77 cm red slammed my white needle hootchie stuffed with pinky/ silver/ couple strands of blue at 47 feet on the rigger off pink apartments -what a great feeling to cap off a beauty day-
I didn’t weight it but it was huge, biggest pink I’ve ever seen, one of those tyee pinks, big fat hump, I’d say 20lbs for sureWhat's the weight on that big guy.
If you are asking about the dog, last time he was at the vet, weighed in at 110. He’s more solid now, must be a bit more. But he’s fast for his size, one of his favourite hobbies is chasing flies, and he’s good at itWhat's the weight on that big guy.

I was into a number of fish jigging a reef around the bowl on the west side. Released one likely a tyee. Trolling was producing mostly unders.Anything happening around Sangster-ish area? I'm going to fish my way home from Hornby.
