Well that’s not how I read it…

The notice shows the slot size for area 28 and 29 overall, but you are referring to the sub area. The sub area is within the overall area, so don’t you think that slot size regulation would apply?

But does that sub area notice give any size minimum at all? My brain tells me the slot size for the overall area would also apply to the sub area when no other indication is given.

Making sense of it all, well that’s a whole other topic lol, I’m just reading/interpreting what I see.

The notice has been up for awhile if it was wrong I am sure they would have corrected it.
i am also sure that the regs state something along the lines of in season notices take precedence.

One area with a different standard to another is not unusual hence the confusing myriad of map coordinates in some notices this is not uncommon all over the regs.

Yeah. Set your rigger at 220’. Cured anchovies on a UV purple haze flasher and you’ll be catching springs in the slot limit. Tried green and white hootchies earlier in the afternoon and it was wild coho nonstop. Just keep it in the 200’ zone and you’ll be getting your fish. Good luck!

Putting the boat in tomorrow for a week of fishing out front. I’ll be with my boys on the red aluminum (Langara Lodge Boat, ex-guide). I‘ll say hi if we cross paths. No ‘chovies but I’ll be trying hoochies and spoonS. I’ll stick to the 200’ and I’ll be trying the full water column.

Time your outing with the tide. If you don’t have meat, try to get your gear down in the 150-200’ zone 1 hour before and after the high slack. Late evening flood works best.

I guess it all depends whether Fraser River bound chinook are ever caught in the mouth of the Cap (probability based on DNA sampling). Remembering of course that the 80cm thing is all about the Big Bar Landslide.

My Bridgeview is yeah. Guided for WCR back in the day and scooped it off them when they closed Milbanke lodge 6 or 7 years ago.

Was a beauty day. Just had to follow @Rain City around to find the fish!
