Sending it out from PH saturday, will be fishin in a blue topped 17’ lifetimer runabout.
Most likely going to work my way Quarry and north but may go down bjerre way too.

Was out today as I had some technical difficulties on saturday. Dad, dog and I fished fearny to quarry around orchard. Missed one pin popper and one shaker and that was all she wrote! Was a nice day out there. Popper was on spatterback glow greeen hoochie w purple uv flasher. Shaker was on herring aid spoon w/ blue flasher

**** on plate at the start but a slight chop picked up around noon and we boogied!

Looks like your dog loves it out there. Bought life jacket for mine. It have not tried it yet.

Beauty winter fish above!

My dog seems comfortable enough with the life jacket. But sometimes shes also happy to get it off. Its more for the cold weather and the “what if” she did go in. Shes a good boat dog though, watches the rod tips, and barks at seals lol! She often sleeps under the helm at my feet but gets up when theres action and perches on the back to make sure we are still on proper tack. Gets her tail wagging when the net gets out, she knows its show time!
 
The small red place on the rocks kusy east of the rockwater? That's our good friends place! Nice work.
 
Can someone clarify current chinook regulations for Jervis Inlet. While Area 16 is closed for Chinook April 1 - July 14, there is a special notice for areas within Jervis Inlet. Are Subareas 16-6, 16-9 and 16-12 still open to retention of 1 Spring?

That portion of Subarea 16-7 westerly of the Salmon Inlet RCA boundary following a meridian passing through at 123°43.00'W (near Black Bear Bluff); and

That portion of Subarea 16-8 west of a line from a point on land at 49°41.5'N, 123°48.4'W, across to a point on the other shore at 49°41.1'N, 123°47.7'W; and

That portion of Subarea 16-10 north of a line from a point on land at 49°40.0'N, 124°04.3'W, across to a point on the other shore at 49°40.0'N, 124°05.1'W; and

That portion of Subarea 16-11 north of a line from a point on land at 49°44.99'N, 124°15.57'W, across to Ball Point (corner of the Hardy Island RCA) at 49°45.100'N, 124°13.750'W; and

Effective 00:01 hours April 1, 2022, until 23:59 hours July 14, 2022, the daily limit on Chinook is one (1) Chinook per day marked or unmarked, with maximum 80 cm size limit on unmarked Chinook. For clarity, there is no maximum size limit on hatchery marked Chinook and the minimum size is 62 cm in Area 16.
