Fun little derby out of Montague Harbour Marina on Galiano happening again this year after 2 years off.

Montague Marina will be doing 2 for 1 moorage again for those who want to sleep on their boats for the weekend.

Everything. Absolutely everything.
In the past 4 months...
-first a kicker fuel pump
-then kicker injectors
-then a full overhaul on cooling system on both engines
-then a rebuild of the reverse lock on the drives (after a full overhaul of one in 2020 and then a brand new one in 2021)
-then two new starters
-then two new batteries
-and finally a new alternator
I just bought a shockwave seat too just so I could feel like I spent something on myself.

All of this between two different shops and two different mobile mechanics. Plenty of down time between each issue.

Great day on the water for the Galiano Salmon Classic this past Saturday. I think every boat had multiple salmon to the boat and the weather was very cooperative. Bonchovy boat with Team America dominated with the biggest released salmon at 88cm and also found a 50+lb halibut!! Great day for them but not totally surprising

Other boats reported catching multiple salmon in the teens and several boats got into some nice lings as well, including the "ling king" @Rain City who took home the hidden weight prize and will now proudly wear his gold-plated lingcod pin to all formal events he attends.

thx to all who showed up and took part in the event and helped raise from money for PSF. Great to have some sponsorship and prize donations and looking forward to 2023 event! Will post some pics below.
