We had a great day yesterday morning by the narrows. Limited out with 4 of us in 4 hours. Fished the normal bubblegum on 1 side and bubblegum/black on the other. Fish were between 40-70 feet. Interesting enough we had 5 jacks which is the most I have had in a day over there. It was spotty for many and we didn't see bionic net action. Wind made it challenging at times.
22" leadersWhat leader length were you running?
Thanks
Depends where you were yesterday. We limited with the last 6 being caught in less than 20 minutes. Didn't have time to get the gear down on both sides at the same time. Some pretty good fish showing yesterday.Quick fish this morning and went 4/6. Nice size fish but we couldn't stay for the tide change bite. Sounded a little slow on radio with locals. Wind came early
Come on Deryk. A big time tackle magnate like you should be able to afford to put a hootchie on at least some of your lines.Snuck out with some of the PNT staff on Tuesday morning.. a bit of a later bite but there still there.... Oki plaid flashers black hooks were the ticket for the day....

Well Done! Much slower at Underwood. Saw the first Seiner start at 9:15! Just read that the opening was at 10. Seine boat and companion boat were already closing up first net.We went 8 for 15 this morning near Dunsmuir. Sieners started at 10 guess it going to slow down now. Great morning on the water. 60-75 feet on the wire
I believe that was the test fishery at 9:15.Well Done! Much slower at Underwood. Saw the first Seiner start at 9:15! Just read that the opening was at 10. Seine boat and companion boat were already closing up first net.
Wondered about that - makes sense as the others around Dunsmuir were just positioning and waiting.I believe that was the test fishery at 9:15.
