I got a sideways look from the wife as I marked it on the calendar on the fridge.
She now knows when the Boatshow, VanIsle 360 and Brown's Bay Chum Derby are happening!

I did Seattle Boat Show last year. It was Definately set up for the wake board, and cruising crowd. Over the last 10 years, they have moved away from deals on Fishing tackle and electronics. ONLY 2 displays for tackle and a few fishing boat manufacturers. The crowd was 90% "old people" like me!! Deals are better at HMC so I brought my money home. Worst part was that US Customs Agent that was an assh..... Because I had cash in my wallet!

Going down opening day. Always looking forward to it. Best local opportunity to learn a lot in a day. Looking at some electronics upgrades, see if there are any deals on PLBs, and maybe some Tuna stuff.

Hmm - I got tossed out of No. 5 in the '70's. Apparently even back then it wasn't acceptable for the patrons to try and get on stage with the dancers...

Seen some pretty awesome bands there, and shows

Did you know they have or had a boat for hire in Coal Harbour. Guided fishing trips. They were a great time on the water

Already done that deal in fact my motor is on display at the show..... Going to go pay it a visit and look at a new boat. Have a little business plan in the works

Just got to sell the old motor, then the new one goes on.
