Yelloweye increase

I see there has been an increase in yelloweye mortality. The mortality cap went from 13.9 tonnes to 29.8 tonnes, coast wide. Anyone know if there will be a change in limits?

I'm curious what that would give the rec sector and what we had in mortality when it was 1/1

Probably twice what get got last year. Zero. Wait, 2 times 0 is still zero which is exactly we got last year. In all seriousness, what does mortality cap mean and how does that relate to fish allocation?

In 2016 we harvested 60T as a sector. I suspect the increase will be associated with bycatch and nothing else.

In offshore areas believe it was 2 per day, 4 in possession then. Use 2017 as an example perhaps when it was 1/2 which is still more than 1/1.
