WTB (or borrow) airplane safe rod case, 5'6 ish ?

Want to haul a couple techniums (10'6) south a couple times this fall/winter to experiment with. If anyone has something they don't need or aren't using for awhile, let me know ?

Buy a piece of pvc pipe. cut to propper length. Glue pvc cap on one end and a female coupling on the other. Buy a pvc plug for the female end. use bubble pack for packing. I have shipped rods everywhere on planes with no problems. I used schedule 40 pvc which is thicker than some water pipe.
