That 2352 would be way underpowered with that 225 IMO.

your prob right, stock they come with 260 or 250hp 5.0L mpi or 5.7L carbed..... and people still say they are underpowered
a 350mpi or 383 mpi would be nice, or twin 200's?

I have a 350 mpi in my 2352. It moves along quite well.

got the same motor in my wellcraft.... does 52 mph when running light
I have the same boat as dmurph 2359 I have the 5.7mpi with bravo 3 you can't get it from the factory with this motor. I had the 5l mpi in it back in 2007 -2008 but the motor melted from the inside out in 2008 and warranty covered it after a while but I paid to upgrade . The difference in power was massive I Cruze 25-30 mph depending 3400-4000rpm . I can tell you though I ever used it's power for cruzing only when we have a full load of gear fish and people running swells or chop. Boats 5300 lbs dry . If anybody is renpowering I strongly sudjest this motor and drive . Or you will be blowing up engines and or drives regularly . There is a lot of boat you get in the 2359 fully loaded I'm around 8000lbs . As far as I know you can only get the 6.2 now they got rid of the 5.7mpi
