im looking for a good little .22 to get me into shooting and for a first rifle. i can pick up from vic-nan this weekend, or am at school and can meet up in vancouver/lower mainland.

If you can find one, try a Ruger 10-22 - great little .22

Should be lots around as they sold plenty over the years. Also lots of nice custom accessories you can add later.

2 Litre Coke bottle works just fine for about a dozen shots, then starts to get louder with each shot. You can also fill with foam rubber.

Just remember such a device is considered a Prohibited Weapon in Canada - you don't even have the option of paying the $200 tax to register it like you do in the USA

Get a paintball gun silencer and adapt it. Would probably work with the plastic tech they have now. I use to have one on my paintball gun years ago when I played competitive for a team on the Island. Had a great time.
