Wow what a boat!

and a huge price tag $350,0000

plus its a cat

That thing would ride awesome and have plenty of power with the cat hull and 600hp would be pretty good on fuel for its size. Seems to be priced pretty high but those big welded cats have a hugh price tag new.

I'm willing to bet it rides great until you get out in large water (as in offshore) and then it is a real pounder. That is the problem with Cats - the flat bottom portion of the hull pounds in big swells.

Boat is a lot pricy too. If I wanted a great guide boat in a diesel, I would go for a Daigle from Campbell River in a 32 footer.

My other dream boat is a Grady White Express 305....next size up from the 265 I currently drive.

I can't find anything on the Suzuki that says they make a 300 HP diesel outboard. So either that thing isn't diesel or those 300's aren't outboards.

They are not diesel I really would bet that's a miss print!!

Yah, why would they put propane heat in a boat of this size. You never know, that may be a misprint as well if the boat does in fact have outboards.

i found quite a few american boats (outboards) have propane heaters.... maybe transport america allows for bottle storage inside? my boat came equipped like this... previous owner removed the diesel heat and converted to propane with the tank inside the pilothouse!! that got changed pronto!!

I was wondering about ROI as well. Typical guide boats charter at 1200-1500 a day for 24-26 ft rig that can handle up to 4 clients. So maybe you can charge 2500 a day for the bigger unit. Take off fuel and all the other overhead, you're maybe netting 1000 a day toward payback of investment. At 80 days a season you're 4-5 years to pay it down and start running a profit, 50-60 day seasons and you're 6-7 years. Just in time for major engine rebuild... This'll take a while to sell.
