The key word in that sentence is "found", haha. They can be quite camouflaged. Luckily, nematodes and tapeworms die in the freezer after a week at -20, and when the fish is cooked.I have never ever found worms in salmon. Maybe I’m lucky. Pacific cod though, lots! Never had one without worms. Most ling, but not all.
Because or worms I always freeze all fish before eating.
