Try Shar-Kare in Courtenay. I think they have some at their Campbell River store too. Also try Acklands-Grainger or Fleck Bros in Campbell River. Shouldn't be hard to find one around Comox valley though.
Good luck.

Take care.

Somebody I know has one but the handle is broken.....(easily replaced) But for the life of me at this moment I cant remember who it was?
Ill see if I cant figure it out.

Just what I was thinking about. I have seen them in peoples places. But who? I want it to clean local ramps that get plugged with logs. I wish I had one yesterday.

I've made a few calls and it is not coming to light..... Hopefully it will come to me.

ehehhehe that was me Dan w/broken one.;) I welded some steel pipe to it and it broke again... I did get a new one but you are not gonna want to pay the price 129.00$ I also bought a good one at an estate sale for $30. Just keep your eyes open. I use one regularly on the beach/wharf , log salvage and doing firewood. Try Western Equipment or Acklands. ...Again I miss Pallisters!
My uncle Jock of 'Jock's Dock' was a world champion with a Peavey and log rolling and showed us how to use them . I'll betcha there is people that don't even know what they are!

It wasn't you buddy... It was at a place I was cleaning up and I moved it. Broken off right at the base of the handle

...(an yeah... Big D could roll them;))

That would be the price. We had to buy a couple for work and were suprised at how overpriced they were.

I can buy them new for under $100 new here in Courtenay, But there must be some used ones/rusty/seized or broken ones out there. Or maybe somone who get company pricing some where?

There has got to be a deal out there.... or a fixer upper.

I've got one if you need to borrow it FA, or anyone in the CV for that matter........:)

Thank you Rob, but I don't want to be returning it with a broken handle. I will find away to get one. Great offer though.

We better have one on hand for Dec.11th

I still need to own one.

Anyone come up this way from Victoria for work or what ever?

I'll be moving up on the 17. If you don't mind waiting a bit, and you don't mind picking it up in Willow Point, I don't mind lending a hand.

Hey, SH... If you can that would be great. Give Gary a call..If any one else has idea's or peavey's they don't want or need any more I know of local fishermen that would love them or the one from SH if another comes around. If I end up with more then one I will give them to SFBC members. I just want to keep the ramp clear..
