What makes a boat "fish good"

There’s only one secret to fishing, go where the fish are…
Lures or combinations of lures, type and colour of flashers, size and finish of spoons, size and colours of plugs, etc, size and type of hook for each lure (always sticky sharp), type and size of leader (, bead colour, length of leader behind flasher, combination of lengths of flasher tows and naked lures such as spoons and plugs, distance between flashers and plugs or spoons when stacked, depth ( sometimes a bit shallower is better as there is less junk up from the bottom a bit), speed (varies with the species you are targeting, direction you are going and what way the wind and tide are pushing), direction you are trolling ( super important at times ), all of these variable work in combination with each other so you need to maximize ALL your gear not just your hoochies or your spoons or flashers or butterflies so they are all working together.

And of course, you have to be on fish to catch fish.

I guess I was more thinking of what v features on a boat do people think make boat fish able. Completely agree the person fishing and driving makes the biggest impact.
Being organized and keeping a tidy deck with everything you need at arm’s reach, and anything you don’t need stowed away. Making sure none of that stuff will get caught on the net or knocked around when you land a fish. Being able to get a fish out of the net, bonked and bled and get
your gear back down ASAP. Nothing worse than a giant sh*tshow, getting lines and gear tangled and messing around with gear when the bite turns on. Stay calm and focused when it does. Panicking when you finally hook a fish is a great way to lose the fish or your gear.
