I’ve never seen anything like it but thanks for the share. I’ve caught quite a few bullheads (sculpins) but nothing that interesting.

Slightly resembles this sea monster we dragged up jigging cod last summer. Turns out this is a prowfish
I didn’t have a clue what this was nor did anyone at the dock after I showed pics so I reached out to ghanke@royalbcmuseum.bc.ca who was able to verify identity, if no one knows here and you’re curious he seems quite knowledgeable

I'm not the expert, It's my daughter, she's the fish ID specialist. Whenever I catch or see weird thinks or friends I just ask her and she fiqures it out. I was sent a picture of some weird worm and she identified it as the a Celebrate Pride worm. LOL

And she nailed it. This is what it was. Glued together from scallop and clam shells.

Thats hilarious, except it was Red "Barchetta"
Barchetta is the name of my ride
Which translates to "little boat" in Italian
Pronounced Barketta, which Geddy Lee had wrong and admits he mispronounced when he sang Red Barchetta.
