Does anyone know what WA means in Navionics? Im trying to determine bottom composition but keep seeing WA and cant figure out what it is. Any ideas? Ive also seen WB and WL.
On a nautical chart, "WA" stands for Wreck and Anchor. It is a symbol that indicates the presence of a wreck and warns vessels not to anchor or drag nets in that area, which can damage both the wreck and the fishing gear.
