What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

Had a few dry days in the forecast with a little bit of warming up, so I decided to redo the worn Kiwigrip deck... of course it started raining just after I finished up yesterday afternoon.

Moved it under a partly covered area and then got it back out in the sun this morning. The freshest corner, which was also the lowest corner washed out a bit, a few of the "low points" too where I had gone over chipped spots a bit thicker settled... Anyway, it was dry and so I touched up a bit. It's not perfect, but it never was going to be anyway.

Where did you get the KiwiGrip? This is something I need to do this year out next. Looks Good.

Note on the kiwi grip, it’s not that great, I’ve put some on mine(glass boat) had to grind the deck down to glass, (won’t stick to gel coat ) it’s easy to damage, chips easy, and hard to wash. I end up doing touch up every year. I should have done non skid gel instead. Mine is light grey

Nothing wrong with that!

Yeah, well, you know, you probably didn't do the prep work right and used the wrong primer. Maybe too fine or coarse of a sanding grit also... LOL...
I know what I am doing dude, it’s just like a textured deck paint. Once you **** and abuse it for a season show us pics of it, then you can blab on

You're the only one blabbing here man. I was keeping it pretty light - "Yeah, well, you know" "LOL" primer/fine/coarse etc.

Go shít on someone else.

Read your post there kid, I was posting a comment on my experience witch you have none, you put free stuff on your boat woohoo@ Reelslim is a friend don’t want him to make the same mistake( ignore button activated ) 🙄🙄

First of all, I'm not a kid.

Secondly. Get a sense of humour. I am keeping it pretty light with Big Lebowski memes and mimicking that in my second response - "Yeah, well, you know" and throwing in some hyperbole which I thought was obvious. I then further highlighted that to you in my third response. Yet you still continue hating...

Thirdly. Maybe don't go shítting on me or my experience and send a PM to your friend if your concern is so great.

Fourthly. Sure, nothing is perfect, I'm sure Kiwideck isn't perfect, this 6 year old boat needed redoing. It didn't last forever. I'm sure my job isn't perfect and I stated as such with the rain etc. But believing your opinion is fact is narcissistic. Lighten up.

This is intended as a friendly response. Can we get back to talking politics?
Absolutely it was. I thought it was clear.

I guess I brought out the Jesus in Brutus with the Big Lebowski response...

Dios mio, man...

Someone is taking it all too seriously.

Sorry this got off the rails.

25 or 30" shaft on the yam?

Curious what your mpg was at cruise with the 350? I've heard the reworked 350 rendition of the 4.2 is notably more efficient.

I have a monaro and the nature of the hull lends nicely to a set of zipwakes. I'm stoked to see someone do this. Look forward to an update after you put time on them.
