Just me but I'd rather fish from a tinny with no need for a bait board. I often fish five feet off the rocks, where the Springs hang. No $800,000 yacht doing that!

I think you and my wife define the word Hero, "differently."
Now that I understand I won't be working with High Moleuclar Weight Protiens, the task seems more in line with my skill set.
Since retirement , I have been organizing my garage, getting a motorcycle ready for a trip, and fooling around with the boat.
The garage is not looking as much like a B &E crime scene and I call that real progress. I am midway through the just bought cheap plastic boxes to sort things into, so that I can begin to sort things, into different plastic boxes, and then re-sort them into plastice boxes to give to Gus and still keep the good stuff for my wife to give to Gus when I slip this mortal coil.
If you think I have an $800,000 boat I will sell it to you today for half price and throw in the $135.00 bait boar for free

Finished up the complete re wire then dropped off the boat at the fab shop had a custom tilting radar arch built by Walt bohn in sooke top notch work and a great guy I’m very happy with the design and the look! Just need to get the radar and lights hooked up going to be a great year!

New spark plugs for both motors. New oil and leg oil for both motors. Got all the hard water spots off the motor cowlings and gave em a quick hand polish. Then I eteched the boat. Lake water up here sure does do weird stuff to aluminum

Took advantage of the nice weather to finally pull all the inspection plates on my dance floor. I always have water in the bilge after a rain and it started bugging me seeing my starter batteries sitting in a pool of water (even though they’re in plastic battery boxes)
Seasport has a good reputation for clean workmanship and attention to detail but when I pulled the aft port side plate, it was clear somebody forgot to finish their Sikkaflex bead…..I could see water actively making its way through that valley between the mounds of sealant
I really hope that was the culprit for the wet bilge…got all the plates re-seated and all the screws countersunk with lots of sealant in the threads

Gave her a bath fired her up let it run till it was at temp,all systems go! Had to re mortgage to replenish the bit of fuel i used....
