Went to Spider Lake a few days ago, managed one fish in 4 hours, a 16 inch rainbow. These bugs were in it's gut, they are about 3/4 inch long and green. I have a pretty good idea , but would appreciate any thoughts as to identification.
My thoughts exactly, and i keep several in my fly box. I took up fly fishing a couple years ago and read somewhere in between that dragon nymphs were not active in colder water temps, I have much to learn.
