If they're anything like the moching rods, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. I started using those last season and I absolutely love them.

They are unreal. Try and find the video of them using this rod to pick up an 18 lb cannon ball. I use the lighter ones for salmon jigging. This one I use for lings, and halibut . The owner Jeff is a great guy to boot

I have one of the light action rods that I won at a derby. Matched it up with a Daiwa Lexa 400 TW with 50 lb braid to use as a light jigging setup. Biggest ling so far was about 25 lbs and hooked right near the tail. Ran all the way back down to the bottom in 100 ft of water three times and at the rod was doubled right over the entire time. Rod handled it great, super impressed. I'd be hard pressed to convince myself to spend the money on a high end Shimano rod after using it. Goal for this year is to try and jig some halibut, salmon and tuna.

I saw Jeff do this in person and was quite impressed. No fancy editing.

These are the updated version and haven't been released yet. Sure they will be great and even better than the previous model.

If they're anywhere near as good as a Trevala in same weight and length, you'll love them. That's the standard at the moment: light weight, big backbone, moderate price.

They are awesome, I have 2 of them. Light weight, slim, I end up cutting 50lb braid when snagged as I can't seem to break the rod in half even if I put my back into it. Only problem was that the reel seat only takes a max size 4 reel . Apparently this year the rods will be built to allow for a size 5 reel.
