Not sure if many follow twitter but there is some super funny stuff on the Alberta election that is on there the last couple of days. Here is the background from a Calgary newspaper.

Justice Minister Peter MacKay said the mood in the Conservative caucus meeting Wednesday morning following the election was dark. “It was like a morgue,” said MacKay. “Someone said it was like — it’s Albertastan now.”
It didn’t take long for the mocking to begin on Twitter....

The election for Alberta was very bad for the feds...They could lose power over it... I hate to say it but Sinclair could pull it off.... I dont think Trudeau can...
 
Maybe Alberta starts to refine oil instead shipping it out.

If we are lucky we may see a sawmill re-open.

Conservatives are done, that is to say the Harper variant.
 
The smartest post I have seen. Exactly..I cant believe anyone especially on this forum after all of the bad things done to BC especially fish wise would vote in conservatives again...Same goes for the provincial liberal government.. We need changes..
 
I'm with you %100. My bank account can't handle another 4 years of liberals chipping away at it.

I think its time for the Green Party to step up and really define their party as fiscally smart and on the conservative side, but lean heavily towards protecting our natural resources and not selling everything we can dig out of the group or pull out of the ocean for whatever we can get at the time. I truly believe both can be achieved and the Greens would be the ones to do it..
