Question for those in the know! Is there a formula for how much a salmon weigh's? I have seen formulas for hali's but not salmon, also going to buy a scale and was wondering what you ladies and gents use.

It is girth in inches squared, times length in inches from the fork, divided by 800. That will get you within 10% of the actual weight.

The 800 was very effective in the QCIs most fish would always fall with in two pounds when we tested it out on bonked fish at the dock.
