So my new to me boat has a Webaso 3900 heater. It was installed by a dealer. The installation looks fine and the heater works great and has defrosting capabilities for the windshield. My question is around the exhaust pipe/tube. It’s wrapped in a fire proof material and clamped. It’s all done correctly according to my surveyor, but man, that thing really feels warm. Is this the way they all work? Anything additional I can do to reduce that exhaust heat? Wrap it more?
