Offshore, army truck, green splatterback and the glo bud are my favorites. On the inside the purple haze and the oil slick catch the odd one when im not rollin choves on both sides.

I fished Nootka last year and a white glow hootchie out fished everything including Anchovie. Have had good luck with a Tiger Prawn Hootchie too.

Purple Haze

Purple Haze has been a good one for me also. I generally run it behind a Purple Haze Flasher for full effect. Works really good on heavy overcast days, but also works well in bright sun - go figure!

I'll see what I can find around the house to photograph, but I think all my prize hootchies are still on the boat. Which is still in Campbell River [V]

Hey tomictime: What is that top one with the orange and black stripe? Looks interesting. eman

That's a variation of the dog turd. I think that one is made by Yama****a.

couple of people have said the best Hoochie out there already in this post, one particular guide basically uses this and only this out there

I have had good luck with the glow white and the cop car. Also have caught some mighty big Springs on a glow Pink. I like to put a Mylar skirt inside the cavity of the Hootchy.

OK, here is a fresh pak of my favourite hootchy for the WCVI.

I've been running this one for the last 3 or 4 years and it has worked very well for me. I generally like to put a mylar twinkle skirt inside when rigging them. I also use beads to space the hook back to the end of the fonds.
