Waterfront Alberni Inlet

i know you are just posting to be helpful , so dont take this as anything but forum advice to others interested in remote properties. so many things can come into play.. for example- my water access needs 3 leases to access. acrd for road allowance, first nation because we cross treaty land and federal of course for the right to access our foreshore.. these are some of the the exact reasons to use a real estate agent.. correct legal answers in an email..
i have dealt with a few realtors out of bamfield and port alberni.. they love talking on the phone but never straight forward questions by email. i wonder why?
I agree 100%, and it is as to why I am not saying much else. As a licensed realtor, I did suggest putting it on MLS so all have access to verified data, but ultimately it is his choice to expose it how he wants to. I did not ask to list it, not my area of expertise, was just reaching out as so many do, he has trouble posting pics, maps, info. Bare Land Strata etc are unfamiliar terms to many, and it is easy to get excited and misguided. Give him time, but do email him.

i will email him to get a realtor or face liability if he screws up information... our previous owner was quite pumped to have a buyer until we found he had no occupancy permit!!!

The property is at Headquarters Bay. There is 41, 5 acre lots each with 150 ft of waterfront. The total devolopment is 500 acres of that 300 acres is common property consisting of roads, a marina, a full time caretaker, an excellent fresh water gravity syetem. You are individually taxed on your improvments and the land is taxed to South Bay Developments which we all own 1/41st share. Please text me at 250-710-6038 for any more questions. Thanks Lisle

All the realtors in Port Alberni are very familier with Headquarters Bay properties. So no red flag. We have been here since 1989 and it is just time to move closer to town. This is an amazing set up if you like to fish and prawn right in front of your place.

Certainly not pointing fingers at anyone, but you probably know you don’t have to be the listing realtor to try to sell the property if it’s on MLS. That might be why some are not stepping up like they have all the information until a buyer commits. (not the OP) They’re just trying to find a buyer first.
Good luck to the seller.

literally reporting on the listing agents i have dealt with in Bam. Incorrect information, misleading advertisements (pics of other properties on a listing) , going onto other properties without permission, not answering emails but will entertain incorrect verbal answers. there are a couple good ones too.

when we where looking, we really liked the headquarters potential.. too far from open water for us though.
