VP215 pump oil question

Bulkley

Hello all,

I have a new VP215 and it’s time to change the oil. I’m wondering what oil people are using? It seems the lubriplate oil is recommended but are there any other oils people use? Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone can pass along.

Stick with the Lubriplate, after spending over a thousand on the machine why cheap out on oil

Thanks. That makes sense. Where are you getting it from? I’ve found a place online where it’s sold by the gallon but it’d be nice if there was somewhere local. I’m in the lower mainland.

Thanks again.

Ive used motormaster 10wt non detergent oil for a few years now in mine and still going strong.

If you don't mind paying full retail, Call Dustin at simple Sku. They are back east but he's brilliant to deal with. An order of mine got lost in mail and he was all over it. Ended up GIVING me the bags because he was so service oriented. Top shelf service. They don't list the 1 liter oil online, but they do have it.
That being said, there is some lubriplate dealers around, but few and far between. There's a local guy that sells penn lube he may have it, I can check. Although oil is oil, in this application my opinion is to use a food grade lubricant.

I was looking at that site. I appreciate the help and will use an outfit with good CS any day over saving a few bucks. Saying that their prices are competitive.

Thanks again,

Scott
