Volvo Penta D3-190hp and Volvo Penta dp-sm stern drive for sale complete package with gauges, throttle, steering, helm, etc.

I have converted my boat to a larger outboard motor.
Backstory: The previous owners had the engine installed new in 2015 although it is a 2006 manufactured engine. They were an older couple that only used it on lakes in the interior and hardly ever got out on the boat. The engine only has 205 hrs on it. I bought it a couple months ago and have been using it in Vancouver since then. The engine is in awesome shape, almost new condition, but does need a couple things.
Problem: The ECU seems to have not been setup right and when the Volvo tech tried to update it, it fried the ECU. This was following the engine having died, we believe due to these ECU problems. The engine does not run without the ECU but had been running great prior to all this. I was already thinking of switching to an outboard so it’s a good excuse for me to get on with that, but for some one looking for a well priced complete engine and drive setup this could be a great deal. The new ECU is expensive at around 6k so that is why this is priced accordingly. Repairing this one or finding another on eBay may be options too. Report from Volvo Penta technician visit available.
Condition: Great condition engine. Full service when I bought the boat in February. Had all fluids and filters changed along with a new water pump. 205 hrs. Includes all gauges, wiring, everything. Anyways, good engine, needs some things, could be a great deal for someone willing to take it on. This package is worth the price just in all the other stuff that comes with the engine. It would be perfect for a 20-25 ft speed boat. It is slightly underpowered on my fairly heavy built aluminum 25 footer. Definitely got some grunt out of it being a diesel though, it pushes hard for a 190.
Stern drive: Drive is also in great shape with around 500 hrs on it. It comes with 4 sets of props, 1 stainless set that matches with the diesel, and another 3 aluminum sets that match better with a gas engine or a different hull, all duo Prop sets. It also comes with two sets of internal gearing. It originally came as a 1.78 gear ratio but was changed to better suit the diesel power/rpm. Set it up with whatever gears suit your boat best. Gear oil serviced recently. Trim, steering, bellows all in near perfect condition. Recently painted it with interprotect 2000 then hempaspeed paint to protect it in the water. I’d consider selling the leg separately but would prefer to sell all as a package. It includes trim pump and steering etc.
I just finished removing it all from the boat so it is ready to be viewed or taken away anytime. Currently in Victoria but could arrange help with transportation to the mainland.
