2004 but rebuilt to as-new condition in 2017, this engine had approx 50hrs use before we purchased it this last spring and had it professionally installed by Sea Power Marine. It was a HUGE improvement over the carb Volvo 5.0 that our boat came with, however, we finally have decided to pod our boat over the winter and the 5.7Gi needs a new boat to call home. We used her all summer and replaced anything that was needed (risers, manifolds, plugs, closed water cooling system, fuel pumps and filters etc) as it was stored in a shop a few years. Runs and looks perfect - mechanical inspections welcome. The fuel economy and power is amazing. The rest of the system is for sale as well (Volvo Penta dual prop outdrive with low hours, ss props, all controls and gauges) $6,500 obo for engine only
