has any body heard of a Kitimaat salmon spoon?
Are you thinking of the one Gibbs makes?has any body heard of a Kitimaat salmon spoon?
no this is old, found it in one of my boxes with 1920's spoons. I have the Gibbs too. the lure I spelled correctly, not in any book I have.Caught many fish on them, mostly Coho and Steelhead.
Take care.

will post a pic as soon as I can.Oh I'm here, Just looking for anything on Kitimatt spoons and has me stumped. But I would like to see it.
Kitimaat spoon, upon receipt of a very knowledgeable source down south, this may be a commercial lure or a bootleg copy of a McMahon.will post a pic as soon as I can.
thanks, I had a feeling that it was Gibbs, as it is quality made.It was made by Gibbs for distribution by McClennan, McFeeley and Prior LTD. Gibbs also punched the "Kingfisher" for Gundry Pacific and a "McMahon" for Edward Lipsett. All of which were McMahon spoons. That Kitamaat is probably from the late forties to late fifties.
