Currents look good for Halibut this weekend from mid morning well into the afternoon
anybody looking at going?

Was thinking of pestering some coho in the morning, and dropping to bottom for the afternoon/evening..wind permitting.probably conny,or border banks

Out today on Constance from 4:30 - 7pm. One hatchery Coho. watermelon coho killer. Missed another. Pretty slow but at least ended dry streak.

Out for a quick stay on the pick yesterday out front 360' in the mud no structure. Lost a barn door - snapped 80# leader. Humbling experience. It's been a while since that has happened. Single herring provided the only hit. Bit of ground swell and it pi$$ed out there which was good to see. Happy to have a pilot house! Prolly last stab at the flatties this year. Go get 'Em boys.

Ps Thought it was running a little hotter in the morning than advertised. Wondering if that quake up north could have had an effect.

care to share a few more details and information steve??? whats the point in posting if there are no details at all?

3 coho at 60' between Clover Pt and the flag. 90' to 150' depth. Was handlining them in to avoid snuffy. Friend in another boat took a 16# spring. All between 830 and 1130.

Currents great for Halibut today off the waterfront mid morning, salmon belly's and herring
got us 3 Halibut 37,30 and 12 lbs
only 3 dogfish and a couple of Cabezon released.
