VHF Radios -Duncan Area?

My VHF has died - yes, I held a 'quiet' moment.
Are they worth fixing, or just treat as disposable?
Just a small Uniden, so no big deal to replace, but if anybody knows a repair shop I can have it checked out at, I'd appreciate hearing.

try the guy on Boys road.near the highway across from Budget rent a car.Beside that medical oxygen place.(by that new coffee place) I've heard from others that he really knows his stuff.

Thats FM Communications that your looking for , is very good and is one of the few on the Island that does coaxial cable repairs.
