Scrolling through some used vehicle ads, this came up: (*Non-Repairable Status-*. Flood Damage)

In the US, they called them Katrina cars, vehicles that were underwater during their terrible floods. We now have similar concerns here after the flooding in the Fraser Valley and up country, when buying a used vehicle. Be sure to check the history thoroughly, as not all sellers will disclose this defect, minor to major.

There's been lots of these sold on bcauction as well. Parts cars basically and up to the person to determine which parts still function I guess?
