Vault system bearings

Hello,

I'm currently rebuilding the hubs on my boat trailer, which are equipped with the Vault system instead of traditional Bearing Buddies. The manufacturer recommends using a hybrid oil/grease lubricant. However, when I asked at NAPA, they weren’t familiar with this type of product.

Has anyone else encountered this? What are others using as a suitable replacement or equivalent?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Sherwood marine sells the grease for the vault bearings. Did them after 5 years of use on my old boat/trailer and it was clean, no water ingress, no issues with bearings - better safe than sorry. You have to get new seals and they have all those in stock. The vault system comes stock on tuff trailers and sherwood stocks all the replacement parts/grease etc. The grease looks like regular grease but when slightly heated it gets runny and almost like an oil. Found out the hard way when I did mine on a sunny day outside.
