I am planning to try and get out on the weekend. Has anyone been out at all recently? Any reports?

Thanks:D

I was out on Sunday ,south end of Bowen. We hooked 4, 3 4lb'ers that we released and a good one that released himself. Had a lot of fun though. We used green flasher with coyote spoon at 100'

Bump!

If you know where to look, one boat landed a 26lb Red Doe, 21 lb Red buck, and 16 lb white buck Thursday evening off the coal ports between 6 pm and 8 pm. Best depths were 65 to 75 feet off the north Coal ports on Anchovies behind flashers.

Wow that's a pretty decent day. I was thinkin gof trying to cross over to Thrasher but the forecast does not look good.

Coal port fishing may be slower in the near future as a suction dredge is working by the tug basin as part of the expansion. Suprising how many boats have been hitting the area the last couple of weeks. If trolling the area be careful as the pipe for the suction dredge goes out well past the coal port. Seems to be a ton more seals this year. I have seen whales out there most days this week and the seals seem to care less.
