There's a real DFO credibility problem when there is essentially no enforcement on the F.N. fishery. It defies belief that the many gill nets on the Fraser killed only 60 salmon. Poaching needs to be prosecuted no matter what the ancestry of the poacher. No retention for the public fishery followed by massive retention on the Fraser will never save the stocks of concern. Wilkinson is deluded. Meanwhile the public fishery and small coastal communities collapse.
