Update- Slow Day

We had a group of 5 boats fishing the Bedfords, Church Rock, Whirl Bay,and the Christopher Point today from 6 am to 1 pm with no luck. Whirl Bay was full of bait on the flood. Only saw one caught off Church in the tide, heard of a only a few others being caught. Two of our extended group fished Otter and they only caught a 6 pounder and saw one other caught.
Apparently the bite was a very short one because one of the catches we heard of got their two fish within five minutes of each other at Church.

I was up near otter as well but we had action 2 over 20 and a 2 under but I found them very deep for this time of year noticed the bait was about 120 ft down so thats where I went but it was short from 11:30 to 12:30 and the deepest rod got them all so I guess trust what the fishfinder says I normally dont go down that far Its summer?????? Im off to knight again back in 10 days!!!!

Good luck To you fellow fisherman Wolf

I found the same results a Explorer,

Fished from Beechy to the trap and back down to the Bedfords with only two 8-10 pound Springs which were released un harmed.

Then the bite Came on from O'brian to the west side of the Trap.

Good luck in Knight Wolf....spent 5 days up there last week... did more sigtseeing than fishing, but did get the wire singing a couple of times with nothing in the boat... Lots of bait , but they don't seem to be there yet... few coming out on back side off Malcolm, I hear, and saw some Charters working the Wall... make sure you report when you come back...
