Need some help people.
Things started out this year looking like we weren't going to the coast this year but things have changed, its getting quite busy out here and work is plentiful things have turned around quite well. Looks like a trip is in the works. I haven't quite decided on where to head yet but Ukee is on my brain heavy, I really liked it there 3 years ago when we went. But it's also been a few years since we hit Nootka region, thinking of maybe going to Tahsis and fishing Esperenza / Nootka. Also I haven't been up to the north since I was a kid and have never been up to Port Hardy and fished, that's kind of on my brain as well.
It will be a man trip this year 2 or 3 of us for about a 4 -5 day fishing trip, be a hard core trip nothing fancy, motel Kitchenet, eat out no where's fancy just good solid food and lots of fishing. We would leave home and put in the grind and head straight there (20hr run ) average, fish and come home again. Be sometime in the first week of Aug around the 5th I would think.
So just looking for some thoughts, if you had the choice where would it be, where to stay, best chance at some pigs, decent water, just looking for some experience in these areas as I've mainly concentrated on Sooke over the years but looking for a change this year.
