Is that the houseboat incident from Shuswap Lake not long ago? Fatality?
I caught a 20 Lb Rainbow in that lake once. Some very large Lake Trout as well.
The only rainbow I've encountered larger, were the ones in Kootney Lake.

Not much to add to that picture, it pretty much says it all! 
We were going "in" and he was coming "out" of Zeballos. We were going up the hill and around a bend, he was coming down the hill around a bend... Wella! Guess, he might have been going down that hill just a little too fast! The rest is history. If you look at that trailer hitch, there wasn't a lot we could do with that one but make sure he was all right, try to help get the boat out of the middle of the road, and offer a ride back to Zeballos. He actually stayed with his rig. The picture is one posted in Google Earth five years or so.
